The 'crazy' bitch inside you. The one you pretend you don't have. The one that comes out when your lover hurts you. When your friends betray you. When your family cheat you. When the world tries to breaks you.

Dating is exhausting.
Seriously, so, so exhausting. You used to be able to do two dates in an evening. Now you’re lucky if you can even be bothered to send two texts to one dating prospect — in a week.

Social media is not real life.
So stop measuring you’re worth by comparing yourself to social media accounts online. That thigh gap? Probably hotdogs. Or Photoshop. That pristine white bed, complete with fluffy pink throw and matching sequin pillows? That crap has been made to look like that for the photo. Because have you ever actually slept on sequinned pillows!? That shit ain’t comfy.

Most of them are not ready to settle down until they hit their late twenties.
Some will want to whack a wedding ring on you pretty quickly and that’s’ great, but most — won’t. They want to shag as much as they can while they're young. They’re not thinking about death or dying alone. They believe that they have plenty of time to look for the right woman. So unless you’re both in your late twenties, don’t get your hopes up.

If you’re reading this then chances are you’re in a bad place, and for that I’m sorry. I may be a bitch but I don’t believe anyone deserves to feel riddled with anxiety to the point of being sick. If I were there I’d probably give you a hug (but only if you didn’t smell like an orcs arsehole) and probably some tea. Because I know what it’s like, I know what it’s like to have been on a high the night before only to wake up and feel like your life is empty and that everything you’ve come to believe about yourself is just a carefully constructed illusion to help you ignore how bad you think you’re doing at life. Fear not though, because this is just a passing feeling and I’m gonna tell you how to deal with anxiety hangovers…

When it comes to fashion labels I don’t really have a lot of loyalty but I do love Chanel. I have since I was a little girl (my first Chanel item was a beach towel when I was 11 – an extravagant gift from my mother.) I also love Vivienne Westwood with her punk influences and beautifully constructed dresses. However, as much as I love Karl and Viv, there is one designer who had my love faster than you could say haute couture. Well… I suppose I should say haute macabre because the designer in questions is none other than the irreplaceable Alexander McQueen – heaven rest his brilliant soul.

I like playing video games. I always have done, I find it an entertaining way to escape reality and put myself (mentally) in another world. A world that’s more hands on than say a film and less mentally involved than reading. Video games to me are the perfect balance between passive consumption and physical exertion. They are visual and interactive way to immerse yourself in a story and its characters. Speaking of which, the characters are a huge part of what makes a video game, so because everybody loves a good list. Here are my top 5 favourite video game women of all time.

Going on holiday is always exciting. Because it normally requires an intense shopping session beforehand which normally sees you buying a new bikini or two (as well as some other exciting purchases.) However there are some less exciting (but equally important) things you need to remember to pack, or they’ll cost you a fortune to replace when you’re away.

When my ex suggested a holiday to Marrakesh [Morocco] I was not overly keen on the idea. Morocco wasn't on my 'must visit radar' and Moroccan cuisine incorporates a lot of fruit/dried fruit — which I hate. So I was worried that I was going to starve or end up eating plain couscous or bananas for the entire holiday. Eventually, I realised I was being a bit dramatic and travel (even travel to places you aren't keen on) broadens your horizons — which is never a bad thing. So I swallowed my apprehension and sat down with him to book a trip I didn't really want to go on.
